Earlier this week, Google CEO Eric Schmidt visited Washington DC to mainly give a keynote address at the the New Vision launch of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. The 30-minute speech is a general overview of how the internet is challenging historic conceptions of regulation, political participation, and governance. Carnegie posted videos of the keynote (Windows Media, Real Media) and the Q&A (Windows Media, Real Media) online. After the Carnegie event, Schmidt had meetings with several politicians on Capitol Hill. Some details of those meetings were briefly described in the news.
